Message 6:
Your True Self
Jesus said in John 16:12-13:
“I have much more to teach you, but now it would be too much for you
to bear. When, however, the Spirit comes, who reveals the truth
about God, He will lead you into all the truth.” Therefore, we
should have an open mind and heart to receive Spirit's guidance in
all the truths. These are words from Spirit:
“Messages have
been sent to you, through all the ages, through people from varying
backgrounds, and in many parables and miracles. And all My messages
are basically about Who you are, but today you still have not
understood Who you are. You realize that you are flesh and blood,
thoughts and feelings, but beyond that, you are lost. You think that
you are your body, because you can feel the pains and pleasures of
your body. When you are hungry, you hurry to feed your body, and
when you are thirsty you drink. You don’t deny yourself the
pleasures of this world, but when you get hurt by this same world,
you cry out and deny Me. But you have never cared about your
Spiritual Self. When was the last time, you paid attention to your
Spiritual Self? When was it that you listened to the whisperings
from your Inner Being? During the day, you are lost in your worldly
pursuits and in the nights you are lost in sleep. When do you have
time for your Spirit? Even when you pray to Me, it’s all about your
worldly problems. If you could only understand that all your worldly
problems occur because you are neglecting your Spiritual
Identity. When you find yourself struggling and stumbling in your
material world, you find it easier to blame it all on others or on
Me. When will you wake up to understand that it is the ignorance of
your Spiritual Self which creates your wants and needs, your
sufferings and struggle? Staying in tune with your Higher Self will
guide you safely through all the pitfalls in this dense material
world. But despite My ancient messages, repeated over and over
again, you still don’t believe in your Higher Self, you still don’t
trust the Spirit, residing in you, and you still have no faith in
Who you really are. My precious child, you are blinded by the factor
time. You cannot realize the truths I tell you, because you are
disoriented by time. You think there is a past, a present and a
future. When you regret the past and fear the future, you miss to
live in the Now. In your confusion about time, you miss to see the
blessings of the Now and you forget your connection with Me. You
cannot find Me in the confusion of the world, for I live in
Eternity. I have no past and no future, I am in the Now. Seek Me
Now, for there might be no tomorrow; seek Me deep inside yourself,
for I live in your heart. It is in your heart that I have created
all the universes, and it is with your mind that you can comprehend
My Creation. Then why are you looking in the world for the One Who
gives you Life Eternal?”
To understand how God’s Spirit
permeates and contains our world, you should come to the realization
that God is really everywhere; that every tiny dot of material is
rooted in Its Spirit. And all of us have caught glimpses of our
spiritual nature, with our five senses. For instance, when your eyes
appreciated the beauty of art, or the beauty of nature and you were
enchanted, this means you have seen Spirit smiling on you. When your
ears heard enchanting music, and you felt thrilled with that music,
your ears heard the sound of Spirit. When you could smell the first
rain falling on the dry earth and when you appreciated that smell,
you can say you have breathed in Spirit. When you tasted freshly
squeezed juice and you enjoyed the pure nectar, you may say you have
tasted Spirit. And when you feel the warm sunshine on your body and
feel fantastic, you can say Spirit touched you tenderly. See, there
are so many ways to catch glimpses of Spirit, these glimpses are
everywhere, but you have to see it and appreciate it. We are
enwrapped in God, but still, we don’t notice Its Spirit. We even
dare to question Its reality. It is like fishes swimming in the
ocean and wondering where the water is. It is like dust particles
dancing in the air and not knowing the nature of air. It is like the
fragrance of flowers carried by the wind and still, the fragrance is
not aware of the wind. Spirit is just behind and between matter,
Spirit is not hiding; It is right in that space you see between all
the material objects and It is the first cause of all these material
objects. |
